World Refugee Day was established by the United Nations to honor the courage, strength and determination of women, men and children who are forced to flee their homes under threat of persecution, conflict and violence. Millions need your help.

The collection of photographs is immensely haunting, people of all ages, who will come to fill the mass graves of Choeung Ek. Their last known existence in this world to be captured in still life.

Inspiring words by Dith Pran on his death bed. Dith Pran, who’s real life experiences during the Khmer Rouge Regime is depicted in the movie, “The Killing Fields,” has some words to share with the next generation of Cambodians, and the rest of the world.

I’m so happy and proud to see that Cambodia is being highlighted here in New York City, bringing lively khmer culture and events to the big city, and that I’m close by to be able to attend these events and connect with a part of my history.
